websites for studios and independent businesses
For the work
you want next.
Show your work. Explain your business. Give people a way to reach you.
We design and build websites, from the first page structure to the form, booking link and final handover.

What the site
needs to do.
- Your work
Choose what to show.
Projects, services, photographs and writing, arranged so visitors can see what you do.
- Your business
Answer their questions.
Explain who you help, what the work involves, and what a client should know before asking.
- Getting in touch
Make the next step easy.
Connect inquiries or bookings to a system you can use. Keep the tools that already work.

what can be shared
Some work
stays private.
You can start with a written brief. We will agree what can appear on the site before publishing anything.
before we begin
What
to expect.
Where do we start?
Send your website, if you have one, and tell us what needs to change. We look at your material and tools, then suggest the work we think is worth doing.
What is included?
Your proposal lists the pages, content, forms and connections included in the build. It also sets out the revision rounds, browser checks and handover. You can review all of that before agreeing to the work.
Do I need to change platforms?
Usually we start with what you have. If a platform change would help, we explain why and include the move in the proposal before changing anything.
What sits outside that scope?
Photography, a new identity, extensive copywriting, ecommerce, a CRM rebuild and ongoing marketing are separate work unless the proposal includes them.
How does it work?
We agree the brief and schedule, build a working preview, and review it with you. After the agreed revisions, we check the site and inquiry route, then hand over the files and update instructions.
Can the work stay private?
Yes. We agree what can be published before building the public pages. A useful website can describe your services and approach without naming clients or showing restricted work. Our guide to websites for private-client businesses offers a place to start.
Can an assistant contact you?
Yes. Use your own name and reply address, and describe the request in broad terms. Client names, private documents and access details can wait until we agree what is needed and how to share it.
Can you help afterward?
Yes. Support is optional. We agree what it covers and who is responsible for updates.
A note for the approval chain
The website does not need a standing meeting. One person with the final say usually helps.
